- Submit a WIP playblast to Piazza. Include a description of what you are doing and any worries you might have.
- Watch your peers' WIP animations and respond to at least 3 of those Piazza posts with constructive feedback by Sunday 11 pm.
Deliverable

- Reference Video
- Record your motion for reference. It should be less than 15 seconds and from the camera angle that you plan to animate with.
- Include any found footage that you use. This is not mandatory.
- Plan
- Draw a plan of your animation. Exaggerate from your reference and use your rig as a model.
- Body Mechanics
- Animate the Ultimate Beefy/Bony Rigs. Set up a render camera and open it in a new window for a reference. Block out your key poses first. The deliverable for this assignment should be your full motion in a blocked state. During grading, it should look plausible when converted to splines. Chose from one of the following prompts. If you feel very strongly about doing something not on this list, you must discuss it with Mo during class.
- Kicking or throwing a ball
- Martial arts/melee
- Standing up from sitting on the floor
- Fall and then get up
- Hopscotch
- Walk to run
- Lifting something heavy
- Ballet
- Sword maneuvers (one character)
- Run and jump over an object
- Carry a chair and then sit on it
- Parkour
- Skateboarding
- Playblast your animation.
- Submit your files to Box. This includes your video and your Maya binary/ASCII file.
